For me, film and photography are gateways to connection, inspiration, and the discovery of new worlds. My vision blends beauty and transcendence while embracing the power of influence and the depth of emotion.
I'm Emilio Belin, born and raised in Mexico now living between the Midwest and Miami in the U.S. I studied arts in my hometown, Xalapa, Veracruz, a place surrounded by nature, where I focused on still photography during the film-based era. That’s where I fell in love with the image as a form of expression. However, I quickly realized that film was my true passion. This led me to move to Mexico City, where I pursued film studies at CUEC—the renowned school that shaped talents like Emmanuel Lubezki and Alfonso Cuarón.
I've worked extensively in documentaries, mostly for TV (Canal Once mexico, History Channel etc) which has taught me adaptability, awareness, and empathy—allowing me to capture the best in every situation. I've also collaborated with musicians and dancers, and even worked on a major soap opera for Televisa a few years ago
I’m always looking for new creative challenges and opportunities to collaborate within the American film industry. Storytelling has no borders, and I’m excited to bring my vision, experience, and passion to new projects. Whether through documentary, narrative, or experimental work, I strive to create compelling visual narratives that resonate with audiences and leave a lasting impact.
